Kolus is the name given to baby Thunderbird. Thunderbird is a supernatural bird large enough to hunt Killer Whales. The beating of the Thunderbirds wings make a sound as powerful as thunder, hence the name. Kolus often is considered to be a young female. In this case Beau has decided to make this supernatural bird even more supernatural by adding a quartz crystal as the tongue and a skull on top. These objects are signifiers of great power and the spiritual realm.
