The Haida Sea Monster is at times interchanged with the Wasco, a supernatural Sea Wolf that feasts on Killer Whales. This creature is also referred to as T’samuus in Haida mythology. It is a powerful creature depicted by Yeomans with a powerful execution of abstract formline. Yeomans is one of the top Haida artists working today and this is a fine example of his work.
