Life in Germany is getting more and more dangerous for us Jews. We are no longer allowed to have businesses, run professional practices, or send our children to the schools and universities. We are forced to wear yellow stars on our clothes that identify us as Jews, and make us targets for humiliation and assault. We’ve heard that Morocco is supportive of their Jewish community, and have decided it’s just too dangerous to stay here in Germany under the growing power and brutality of the Nazis and cruel anti-semitism. We’ve decided to leave tomorrow, while we feel we still have a chance. We are terrified but desperate.
