Indigenous Radical Love Series:
In this series I wanted to explore the south quadrant of the Cree Medicine wheel, activating the essence of red, earth metal, and the energy of summer. I wanted to invite viewers to embrace the transformative power of love, sparking radical change within Indigenous communities and fostering collective healing, acceptance, and inclusion. Vibrant red hues symbolize the passion and vitality that love embodies, igniting unity and understanding. The incorporation of earth metal elements deepens our connection to the land, emphasizing reciprocity with nature. In all my work I want to celebrate the strength and resilience of Indigenous cultures, inspiring conversations and actions that challenge harmful narratives and nurture a more equitable and compassionate world.
