“I love painting with oils, but have done less over the years as it causes lung issues for me; so, I only paint one or two oil paintings a year now. When I set out to paint this moon, I knew I wanted to paint him as a 'full' moon (heavy set) and with attitude. As if he were 'full' of himself, resulting in him looking a bit smug."
