Artist statement:
My husband Don illustrated a version of these three ravens a few years ago to go along with a Haida legend in a book called “A Story As Sharp As A Knife”. I have always loved the image of three blue ravens together; in my version I wanted the three blue ravens to represent Don, myself, and our son Kyran all together in a show. The Haida ravens are to represent our crest.
