Artist statement:

My curiosity led this time. Ripples in a thought pond reflecting a connection between the creative force, Raven, and a magical being, Frog (who is known at times to find itself in the many worlds beyond our beloved physical one).

After one such journey, Frog returns with a present for Raven, knowing well as we, Raven enjoys shiny things. Maybe Raven was feeling down? Or was it a special occasion? Isn’t everyday a special occasion, a gift, you say?

Or maybe what we’re seeing is Frog giving Raven the idea of light in some sort of in-between world or dimension. Is it a dream? Perhaps a premonition arriving, preceding the famous heist Raven will pull off. Is it a reminder of the light that we all see as coming from within us? It is all connected.

Balancing it all out, we see the “wind beneath the wings” of Raven. The other half, so to speak, of creation. The feminine.
