There is no easy way to talk about pain, and yet, that is often what is required to release it. This is a portrait of a woman of two minds. In one mind, she faces the world in serenity. In the other, she is gritting her teeth with dilated pupils.She is created from the meditations of watching paint dry. Acrylic washes and spatters are layered over time and drawn over with oil pastels and charcoal.
