Composed on ledger paper, this work brings together motifs of foothills, stars, and Iipisówaahs (Morning Star). The use of both traditional and contemporary Blackfoot colour palettes reflects the continuity and evolution of cultural expression. Layering these forms over a surface historically tied to record-keeping subtly disrupts its original purpose, transforming it into a space for Indigenous presence and storytelling.
